New Topic – Huntley, Boorne & Stevens: Tin Makers of Reading

A new IA Topic has just been published on Reading’s tin makers, Huntley, Boorne & Stevens.  This company, founded in 1832 by Joseph Huntley, son of the now more famous Huntley of the biscuit manufacturing fame.  Huntley, Boorne & Stevens made biscuit tins for Huntley & Palmers, but also did much more in their long history in the Reading area.
