Using as a starting point Ditchfield and Page’s volume on Industries from ‘A History of Berkshire’ published in 1906, Jo Alexander-Jones, will speak about the various industries in the county. Ranging from the well-known to the more obscure and often now forgotten.
The meeting will take place on 16 November 2026 in St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Street, Reading beginning at 19.30 with doors opening at 19.15. Details of how to access the venue can be found here
