Reading’s Lost Businesses Booklet

Reading Libraries, along with a group of local history volunteers, have put together the first of a new series of booklets on Reading’s Lost Businesses.  The booklet features some of the lesser known companies who helped to make Reading such a great town, for example Elliotts, the joinery form, and Elisha Albury, a local horse dealer.  The booklets are available from Reading’s local libraries for £2.
