New Book on Reading’s Pubs and Breweries

‘Abbot Cook to Zero Degrees – An A to Z of Reading’s Pubs and Breweries’ is a new publication written by John Dearing, David Cliffe and Evelyn Williams and published by the History of Reading Society.  The book is a comprehensive directory of the subject, with detailed street indexes and maps.  The book is available for sale from Reading Museum and Fourbears book shop in Caversham.

While we didn’t partake in the publication, BIAG can make a small claim to fame because all three authors are members of the society.
