No ‘Trouble at Mapledurham Mill’

While rising levels can be disastrous for some, the high water at Mapledurham was making the workings of this water-powered corn mill run quickly, as spotted on a passing visit this week. This mill and many others are documented in the superb Mills Archive, which while it’s Reading site is closed to visitors is still available to enjoy online.
