Evelyn Williams has lived in Katesgrove, Reading for almost 20 years. Her interest in industrial archaeology began when she lived in Sheffield and steel mills were part of the local landscape.
Breweries and pubs are one of her research areas, as are the industries of Katesgrove.
She was a founder member and is a regular contributor to the Whitley Pump (http://whitleypump.uk), an online local news and information website for Katesgrove.
